A Motherless And Fatherless Child

A Motherless And Fatherless Child

Baby girl dry your eyes, or you won’t have any more tears to cry. You lay in your bed and you cry as if your mother and father are dead. You know they are here, but were they really there?

Since three months old you were left alone in your grandma’s home, she was the only mother you knew, and no one could tell you that weren’t true. But who really knew that 11 years later you would experience something new. A better place they say, but you say no way!

A motherless child you stayed, lonely nights you prayed. The realisation hit that you are now thousands of miles away from the one place you felt safe. On that night, silent streams of tears rolling down your face.

Your father drifted away, many times you wanted to give up half way. A father needs to hear his daughters say and a relationship is the only way. But he is just too far away. You still pray for the day when he will say it’s going to be okay. Physically there, but emotionally where?

The father you see everyday is still no where near, a daughters heart is longing for you to be here. You came here for the most import thing, to get to know him, but better off you’d be with the ones who raised you as a baby.

My eyes are open and I can truly see the loneliness inside me. I wish my mother and father knew me. If only they could see, a motherless and fatherless child they made me.

Outro

Now at 25 years old she sits in awe at the emotions you expressed at just 16 years old. Oh how far you’ve come and how much you’ve grown. She is so proud of you because you found strength, you found love, you found Jesus. You didn’t know you’d become so brave and so bold. You formed relationships that you once thought would be broken forever. Although you went through years of emotional rollercoaster’s, somehow you saw the bigger picture. Somehow God’s love couldn’t leave you alone. Let’s just say we are so glad you followed.
